History of IVM Zrt
IVM was established in November 2010 with the funding of Primus Capital, a venture capital company. Emese Várnagy, IVM’s CEO found a market gap: there was no efficient system for distributing PPE and MRO items, storing these products took up big warehouse space, needed time-consuming administration and resulted in high costs. Thus, she founded IVM to solve these problems and developped micrologistics-systems, that enable time-, energy- and cost-efficient storage and distribution of industrial products.
The founders set up an ambitious vision: in five years, IVM should become the market-leader in the Central-European, and the 5th biggest in the European PPE vending machine market market.PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION
Shortly after starting out on the Hungarian market, IVM entered into Romania and Poland. By 2013 international expansion has intensified, and today IVM operates in 12 countries, among them are: Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden and the Benelux states.
Along with the international expansion, we have also been developing our systems: IVM’s first system and flagship product is SavePro industrial vending machine, developed for the cost- and time-effective storage and distribution of PPE and MRO tools.
Later on – based on the feedbacks and demands of the market – other solutions have been developed, resulting in 5-member SaveLog system:
In 2012, we developed SaveBox, an additional smart-storage for bigger tools.
In 2014, three more innovations were introduced: SaveRent automat, for renting out valuable items and other commonly used tools within the company; SaveCon automat for storing and distributing small MRO tools, such as inserts, milling cutters, drill bits or welding devices; and SaveIT, a unique software, that enables the integration of our automats into an ERP system.
In 2015, we further improved the SavePro system (SavePro 3), developed a built-in scale into SaveBox and upgraded SaveCon with our patented technology.AWARDS
In 2011, SavePro was recognized with the prestigious Hungarian Quality Product Award.
In 2015, IVM was presented with the ’Award for the Succesful Companies’, recognizing us as one of the most successful startups in the country.GOALS AND TARGETS
